Campus sure seems quiet now that the academic school year is over. We are busy processing all of the In/Out forms that come from the halls indicating that a student has moved out. Our student workers have a lot of fun filing 5,550 pieces of paper!

Last week was the truly quiet week and this week we are gearing up again as the Pre-Session for summer school has started. One week hardly seems like enough of a break! We will be busy this week making sure that all the students that signed up for summer housing checked in to their rooms and that they are being billed correctly.

Next week we will be sending out reminder letters telling people that the remaining portion of their advance payment is due. This is always quite the task as most people do owe something so we are busy stuffing envelopes, luckily we don’t have to lick them all!

By then it will already be June and we will be in to the full summer sessions and starting the assigning process for all the incoming freshmen and transfer students.  We are getting lots of emails right now requesting new roommates, etc which is good to get done before we do assigning instead of after it’s already completed!

Better get back to work….
